Moussac sude Tarn et Garonne France

Tarn et Garonne France

The tiny hamlet of Moussac is set in two acres of ground, near the villages of
Bourg de Visa and Touffailles. These sit on the limestone plateaux of ancient Quercy, now in the Department of Tarn et Garonne, in the region of Midi Pyrenees.

In Bourg de Visa (6kms) you will find a small supermarket, bread shop, newsagent, tourist information, bank, bar and restaurant.

Lauzerte, set at the top of a rocky outcrop with far reaching views of the surrounding countryside is about 20 minutes drive. It has beautiful medieval houses set around the square at the top of the town. There are bars, restaurants, shops and markets to be visited. Throughout the year, Lauzerte hosts a variety of musical and artistic events.

The countryside surrounding Moussac is very rural. Small farms dotted amongst fields of sunflowers, melons, maize and other crops. Oak trees line the river valleys.

Cycling and walking are extremely safe - even with children- as there
is so little traffic on the local roads.
